Guido Dael founded Daelprinting in the 1960s. At that time, advertising was still hand-painted on panels, lorries and shop-facades. In the 1980s Peter Dael led the second generation into the business. Silk-screen was then introduced as the technique to accomplish larger assignments. Later on, Daelprinting considerably expanded the screen printing machinery, particularly to directly print large-format banners and sheet materials. In the 1990s, the number of chain stores grew significantly - an excellent time for Daelprinting to present itself as the manufacturer par excellence of POS material in Belgium.
In recent years digital printing caused quite a revolution in the printers’ world. That’s why today we print 80 percent of our products digitally to meet the growing demand for smaller, personalized communication in the point of sale. We also use our silk-screen printing machines for industrial applications. Recently we brought in a new concept: KONG® displays in re-board. This alternative to MDF, wood and metal is 100 percent recyclable and significantly reduces the display’s ecological footprint.
In the large-format printing market Daelprinting is at the top in Belgium. We owe this strong competitive position to our tightly-knit team of collaborators and firm leadership. Three associates organize the ins and outs of Daelprinting: Peter Deal (Production), Jan De Potter (Financial) and Arjan D'haene (Sales & Marketing). Daily practice is run by three field assistants, two internal salespeople, three administrative assistants and seventeen production assistants.
Because of our location near the French border, we export increasingly to France. So at the end of 2010, our sales team was extended to include a northern French field assistant. Also in the southern Netherlands we are listening with great pleasure to what we can do for you.
